A pure, dry clay blend to help purify, detox and deep clean your skin. Our base is fine white kaolin from the Mekong River basin - rich in minerals and gentle on your skin.
First we add dried starfruit - extremely high in vitamin A and special tannins to help reduce redness and help heal blemishes naturally. Then we add northern Thai green tea to deep clean, nourish and help bring rich anti-oxidants to your skin to help reduce the visible signs of aging. And finally we add a Thai herb called wan sao long - a natural anti-bacterial agent to help your skin stay squeaky clean and to help balance the bacteria in your pores that cause nasty spots and pimples.
Why do we sell it dry? Apart from reducing the shipping weight and extending the shelf-life tenfold, it means we don't have to add the harmful, synthetic emulsifiers, stabilizers or preservatives etc that so many other "wet" masques contain. And you can choose how to blend and use it to best suit your complexion. For dry skin, mix with a little plant based oil, mashed avocado, tahini, soothing chrysanthemum tea or yoghurt. For oily skin try a little lemon or lime juice and water. And to draw out nasty blemishes, mix with rice milk and raw honey. Or mashed papaya or strawberries..... really, the options are as limited as your imagination.
Mix to a smooth paste and apply, avoiding the delicate eye area and being sure to cover the under-jaw line. Relax for 20 mins to let it work its magic, before rinsing off with lukewarm water. Pat dry and apply a few drops of light, plant based oil for moisture.
